Summary:

 

For several years Council has been donating a small amount to the St James Anglican Church Guild of Bowraville to assist with its provision of Christmas Dinner for the Senior Citizens of Bowraville.

 

The Christmas Dinner for the Senior Citizens of Bowraville will be held on Thursday 8 December 2016 in the Church Hall.

 

The dinner is free to all Senior Citizens in Bowraville and cannot be held without the financial support of the community and the Church is again seeking Council's help in the form of a donation for this year's function.

 

 

 

Recommendation:

 

That Council make a donation of $250 to the St James Anglican Church Guild of Bowraville towards their provision of a Christmas Dinner for the Senior Citizens of Bowraville on 8 December 2016.

 

 

 

OPTIONS:

 

1        Council can resolve to donate $250

2        Council can resolve not to donate.

 

 

DISCUSSION:
