It is recommended that the Council resolve into closed session with the press and public excluded to allow consideration of this item, as provided for under Section 10A(2) (a) of the Local Government Act, 1993, on the grounds that the report contains personnel matters concerning particular individuals.

Recommendation:

 

That Council accept the additional expressions of interest for participation on the proposed Business Advisory Committee.

 

 

OPTIONS:

 

There are no options.  The report related to item 9.5 in the business paper.

 

DISCUSSION:

 

Council has received further expressions of interest for participation on the proposed Business Advisory Committee prior to the advertised closing of 7 April 2017 from:

 

Glen Heaton          Nambucca Beach Holiday Park (Swimming Creek)

Rob Kennedy        Proprietor Better Value Motors and Nambucca River Houseboats and Cruises

Chris Sedgwick      Farmer and resident of Eungai Rail

 

It is recommended that Council accept these additional expressions of interest in participating on the proposed Business Advisory Committee.

 

That brings the total number of expressions of interest to 20.
