Nambucca Shire Council Rainwater Tank Rebate Scheme
Council has introduced a Rainwater Tank Rebate Scheme Policy which took effect from 1 July 2008. Please see Council's Policy (link below) and application form for further information and to make application to Council. To claim a rebate the applicant will simply need to provide Council with a copy of the Rainwater Tank Rebate received from the State Government along with a completed application form.
NSW Government Rebates for Rainwater Tanks
Please note as from 1 July 2007 the NSW State Government has extended the rebate program to the whole of the State. The scheme in country NSW is being administered through a $310 million Climate Change Fund and the Department of Environment & Climate Change (DECC).

Noxious Weeds Information
Noxious weeds within the Nambucca Shire Council have the potential to pose serious threat to our natural environment, farm productivity and health of the community.
Control of Burning in Nambucca Shire
The Protection of the Environment (Clean Air) Regulation 2002 is designed to prevent air pollution from air borne particulates and chemicals and eliminate localised nuisance caused by smoke and odour generated by inefficient backyard burning off. Nambucca River Foreshore Masterplan (Teagues Creek to the River Mouth)
Consultants, Resource Design Management (RDM) have been engaged to prepare the Foreshore Masterplan for the Nambucca River from Teagues Creek in the south to the river mouth at Wellington Rock. RDM have commenced the project and are preparing the draft Masterplan.
