Flood Recovery Centres to help residents hit by the storm damage in theNambucca, Bellingen and Coffs Harbour Local Government areas have been set up and will be operational from Saturday, April 4.

Each centre will have representatives of key welfare, business and insurance agencies on hand, or via referral from the sites, to give help, advice and information to residents and business people affected by the flooding.

The agencies that will be represented will include Department of Community Services (DOCS); Centrelink; Department of Housing; Department of Primary Industries; Department of Fair Trading; Insurance Council; Rural Assistance Authority; Legal Aid; Department of Commerce.

Referrals can also bemade from the Centre to the Departments of Health, Education and Agriculture or other relevant agencies. You can also contact DoCS on 1800 018 444.
