Please be aware that road conditions can change at any time and the information detailed below is to the best of our knowledge at the stated time.
Council is continuously accessing the road conditions throughout the Shire and this site will be updated only when new information comes to hand. Council recommends that the public listen to the radio, television and if possible check the web site for the Bureau of Meteorology on a regular basis. Residents can report any problems experienced on roads to Council by telephoning (02) 6568 2555.

BRIDGE LIMITS
Huttman's Bridge on North Bank Road, Taylors Arm - 2 ton load limit
Parry's Bridge on South Arm Road, South Arm - 10 ton load limit
John's Bridge, Missabotti Road
Closed due to major structural damage.
Bellingen Road (Bowraville to Bellingen)
No through access after Byrnes Bridge, Bowraville to Bellingen. Nambucca and Bellingen Councils are evaluating Expressions of Interest from specialist companies on the options to re-establish the flood damaged sections.
Deep Creek Bridge on Deep Creek Road Valla
Closed indefinitely. Structural damage sustained. Alternate route via Valla Road.

October 2009 Flood
Please click on the above link to vew the Media Release wherein the Mayor called for the Nambucca Shire to be declared a Natural Disaster Area following flooding on the NSW Mid North Coast for the fourth time this year.
Last week the Emergency Services Minister, Mr Steve Whan did declare the Nambucca and Bellingen Shire areas Natural Disaster areas. Natural Disaster declarations provide a range of assistance for residents, Councils and business owners who have suffered property damage.
