The libraries house a wide collection of books, magazines and newspapers. There are also audio and large print books for people with vision loss, and a children’s lounge with story books. Specialised reference collections regarding indigenous culture and local history are also available.
There is a range of services available including free internet access, story time for children, book clubs and a home library service for the housebound.
If you are interested in local studies and family history, why not visit Macksville Library and make use of our research centre which houses a growing collection of publications regarding local families and the history of local events and organisations? The Centre also houses a collection of local newspapers on microfilm, easily accessed using modern technology.
