Please be aware that this report is presented as information only and that all works are subject to prevailing weather conditions. Some/all works listed below may be adversely affected by weather conditions.

Roadworks

Road Rehabilitation
Mann Street, Nambucca Heads.  Works will be commencing on reconstruction of Mann Street (Bent St to Palmer St) on Wednesday the 15 August. We’ll be working off the road and expect little to no delays for the first week.  As of Monday 20 August, we will have traffic lights in place with regular delays. Priority will be given to bus movements and emergency services.  Weather permitting it is anticipated that a spray seal will be done the first week of October and asphalt works will commence the middle of October.  We will endeavor to keep delays to a minimum. There may be days where we detour the road for periods during the day and will keep residents and tourists informed via our electronic message board.

Road Maintenance
The maintenance grading crew will be working on Upper Buckrabendinni, North Arm and Lower Buckrabendinni Roads.

Landslip Repair
Work will commence on 15 October to stabilise a section of the embankment above Riverside Drive, east of Woodbell Street.  Soil nails and mesh will be installed over the face of the embankment.  Traffic will be detoured around the site via Woodbell Street.  The works are expected to take approximately 3 weeks.

Bridges
The replacement of Lanes Bridge, Rodeo Drive, Bowraville will commence.

Construction

V Wall
Works are continuing on the V Wall and further partial closures will be required to enable the repairs to the solar bollard lighting and the relocation of a state survey mark.  An artwork installation is also taking place at the end of the V Wall, so this area will continue to be closed until completion.  Council appreciates your patience during this time.
