Advertisement - SECTION 7.12 DEVELOPMENT CONTRIBUTIONS PLAN 2019 DRAFT REVIEW

Clause 26 (4), Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation, 2000

In accordance with Council's resolution of 14 March 2019 and pursuant to Clause 26 (4) of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2000, NOTICE is hereby given of an exhibition of the abovementioned Draft Section 7.12 Development Contributions Plan, (previously Section 94A), which has been reviewed.

The reviewed Section 7.12 Development Contribution Plan proposes to amend the way Council collects levies on development within the Nambucca Shire Council Local Government Area, based on the prescribed fee schedule in the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.  A Section 7.12 levy will be payable on all development over the proposed total cost of $100,000.

This plan proposes to repeal seven (7) of Council’s existing Section 94 Plans. The only Section 94, (now Section 7.11), Plan proposed to remain in place is the Mines and Extractive Industries Road Maintenance Contributions Plan.

The Draft Section 7.12 Development Contributions Plan will be on public exhibition at Council’s Administration Centre, Macksville, between the hours of 9.00 am to 4.00 pm, Monday to Friday, from Thursday, 21 March 2019 to Thursday 18 April 2019.  The Draft Plan may also be viewed at the following locations:

There will also be an open Information Evening on Wednesday, 10 April 2019, commencing at 6pm in the Council Chambers at 44 Princess Street, Macksville.

Any person may make a submission in writing to Council with respect to the Draft Contributions Plan. Written submissions must be addressed to the General Manager, Nambucca Shire Council, PO Box 177, Macksville, 2447 and be received by 4.30 pm on Thursday 18 April 2019.
