Notice Of Inquiry Into The Long Term Sustainability And Future Of The Timber And Forest Products Industry
The NSW Legislative Council is conducting an Inquiry into the long term sustainability and future of the timber and forest products industry. In summary the terms of reference are to inquire into and report on the long term sustainability and future of the timber and forest products industry and the role of the Forestry Corporation and other government agencies in supporting the industry.

The Nambucca local government area has extensive public and private native forestry. The Council is keen to ensure that residents with an interest in the industry are aware of the Inquiry and have the opportunity to make a submission.
Interested residents are encouraged to read the terms of reference and make a submission.
The closing date for submissions is 28 May 2021
Council will be conducting weed control activities on roads, reserves, laneways, pathways, drains, public and Crown reserves under Council's management on a quarterly basis commencing January 2021 (inclusive) in various areas throughout the Nambucca Valley.
