2021 Election Enroll to Vote
The Minister for Local Government has published an order in the Gazette under section 318C of the Local Government Act 1993 (the Act) postponing all council elections to 4 December 2021
. The decision to postpone all council elections has been made in response to the escalating outbreak of the Delta variant of the COVID-19 virus in Greater Sydney and the potential for further outbreaks in regional areas. The decision has been made in consultation with and on the advice of the NSW Electoral Commissioner and NSW Health
If you are an owner, rate-paying lessee or occupier of rateable land which is not your primary residence, you or a nominee may be entitled to be enrolled on the roll of non-residential owners of rateable land or the roll of occupiers and rate-paying lessees for this election.
Details of the eligibility criteria and enrolment claim forms may be obtained from the following: NAMBUCCA VALLEY COUNCIL www.nambucca.nsw.gov.au
The claim must be completed and lodged with the General Manager of NAMBUCCA VALLEY COUNCIL by 6pm Monday, 25 October 2021
If a claim for non-residential enrolment was made for a previous election, contact the Council to check your claim is still current. If you need to update your details, please contact Robert Hunt at email@example.com

All electors enrolled on the NSW State electoral roll as at 6pm Monday, 25 October 2021
residing in the NAMBUCCA VALLEY COUNCIL local government area will be included on the residential roll for the election.
To update your enrolment details online or to obtain a residential enrolment form visit aec.gov.au
or call 13 23 26. Enrolment forms must be received by 6pm Monday, 25 October 2021
Voting in Local Government elections is compulsory for all voters included on the residential roll. Voting is not compulsory for voters included on the non-residential roll for other councils.
