Council has a variety of much loved country halls available for hire run by a dedicated group of volunteeers under the auspices of Committees of Management (Section 355).
These facilities are used for activities such as fitness, craft, workshops, community meetings, weddings, receptions, parties, etc which enhance community guardianship, participation and social inclusion. One of the following halls may be just perfect for your event or function.
Reservations must be made through the Committee of Management, see Reservation Contact below. Hire Costs are determined by Council and can be obtained by referring to the current Fees and Charges.

Valla Public Hall is an historic icon in the region built in 1909 and can cater for all events and special occasions. Recently refurbished, it has high ceilings with wooden beams giving it character including lovely rustic timber floors. The lovable Valla Public Hall can offer up to 20 tables with a seating capacity of 100 guests with a fully equipped modern kitchen. The large covered timber deck area offers extra space for guests.
