Nambucca Heads Library and Cultural Precinct Concept

Council is pleased to announce that following a multi-stage process, Vokes and Peters Architects from Brisbane have been selected as the winning concept for the design of the new library and cultural precinct at Nambucca Heads.

Nambucca Shire's new learning and cultural precinct will be a nexus for the social and cultural life of the region. In a digital age with a growing predomonance of online engagement, public spaces have become more, not less, critical to sustaining and growing local communities.

Nambucca Valley Council announces the project will commence from mid-September, 2021. The Library has relocated to the Nambucca Valley Community  & Arts Building just next door for the duration of the construction. There will be some disruptions to service during construction, but this is expected to be minimal.
