Reclassification of operational land to community land

Lot 3 DP 1289987 – Hennessy Tape Oval and Golf Course, Bowraville

Nambucca Valley Council has resolved to exhibit a proposed resolution to classify Lot 3 DP 1289987 which contains Hennessy Tape Oval and the adjoining golf course in Bowraville as community land in accordance with section 33 of the Local Government Act 1993. Council previously subdivided part of the land for the creation of a lot to accommodate the newly constructed Bowraville Sports Hub. Lot 3 DP 1289987 is the remaining lot from this subdivision which is intended to be reclassified to community land and can be seen in the below image.

Any person may make written submissions or objections in respect of the proposed reclassification which should be lodged with Council no later than 20 May 2024. Submissions must be addressed to the General Manager, Nambucca Valley Council, PO Box 177, Macksville NSW 2447 or sent by email to council@nambucca.nsw.gov.au. It is requested that submissions in support or objection list reasons. The provision of a name, address and contact telephone number will enable Council to inform you about the progress and outcome of the matter. Please note that any submission may be incorporated in a Council business paper or otherwise publicly disclosed.
