Protection of the Environment Legislation Amendment Act 2011 - New Requirement to Prepare Pollution Incident Response Management Plans.
On the 16 November 2011 the above Amendment Act was assented to by the NSW Parliament. The Amendment Act introduced several changes to the way pollution incidents are reported and managed, including the new requirement for licensees to prepare a Pollution Incident Response Management Plans and placing the Plan in a prominent position on a publicly accessible website of the licensee. The changes apply to all holders of an environment protection license.
