Council advises about a sewage overflow into the Nambucca River at Macksville on Thursday 21 August 2025 as a result of the current storm event.
Warning signs have been installed at the river in Macksville and it is advised to exercise caution and not enter the water when accessing the river.
The warning signs will be in place until such time as the situation improves.
