User groups were provided a tour of the facility last week to discuss the extent of damage and repair works still required.

Council is now able to project a partial re-open date of 1 September 2025.

What is reopening?

  • The indoor pool - pumps are being replaced.
  • The gym - Completing the tile laying, disinfecting, painting and cleaning/repair of gym equipment.
  • Indoor gym changerooms
  • Outdoor pool - will be manually chlorinated. This would usually be a mechanical process, however, staff are going over and above to get the pool opened faster.
  • Please note: The air-conditioning will not be repaired by 1 Sept

The below will remain closed for repairs, with further updates to be provided:

  • Kiosk
  • Creche and kid's pool
