Macksville Memorial Aquatic & Fitness Centre Roof

Macksville Memorial Aquatic & Fitness Centre (MMAFC), 23 Cooper Street, Macksville, will have roof restoration activities commencing 19th May, 2025. These activities will continue for a period of approximately four to six weeks (weather permitting). Over this period the following interruptions to facilities activities are expected:
- 50m Pool: No interruptions, will remain open as normal.
- Indoor Warm Water Pool: No interruptions, will remain open as normal.
- Group Fitness Classes and Outside Functional Fitness Rooms: No interruptions, will remain open as normal. Group Fitness schedule is not impacted.
- Front Counter Entry Services: will be moved inside gym area between 19th to 23rd May. No kiosk services that week.
- Outdoor Changerooms: will be closed between 19th to 23rd May. Inside changerooms only this week.
- Gym Floor Area - Cardio & Weights: will be closed between 7.30am to 4.30pm only, between 26 to 30th May. Please train before and after this period on these days.
- Indoor Changerooms: will be closed between 2nd to 6th June. Outside changerooms only this week.
- Carpark: The southern end of the carpark will be closed and used as site office over the construction period.
- Facility Entry Pathway: changes to direction of entry will vary over the construction period. All entry will be via the main entrance, OR via the side gate on the southern end of the main entry building. Signs will be posted to direct patrons as needed.
The above dates and interruptions are subject to change.
Council appreciates the community’s patience and asks that caution be exercised during the restoration of the roof. All facility program participants are requested to allow an additional 10 minutes to their travel to meet any unexpected parking or access issues.
