Due to the high risks associated with lithium batteries, the smaller Community Recycling Station located at Councils Administration Centre, 44 Princess Street, Macksville will be removed from 1 March 2024.

 

Your local Community Recycling Centre will remain at Nambucca Waste Management Facility, 711 Old Coast Road, Nambucca Heads, open 8am - 4pm every day (closed public holidays).

Community Recycling Centres offer a free and easy solution for the disposal of household problem waste such as paints, gas bottles, motor oils, batteries, smoke detectors and fluorescent globes and tubes.

 

Council apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
