Donations Program 2026/2027

Council can make donations or provide other financial assistance to persons or organisations for the purpose of exercising its functions under Section 356 of the Local Government Act.

Council is calling for applications from eligible organisations for assistance in the form of the provision of any additional waste collection services for special events, or the provision of a Waste Waiver for registered charitable organisations for the 2026/2027 year. The Waste Waiver exemption provision by Council only covers the landfill disposal cost and organisations must contact the NSW EPA directly to apply for the waste to landfill levy exemption component each year.

All applicants must complete an application form. You can:

  1. Download Additional Waste Services Application 2026-2027 - for scheduled events(PDF, 126KB)  OR
  2. Download the Waste Waiver Application 2026-2027(PDF, 149KB) to your computer, then fill out electronically and send as an attachment to council@nambucca.nsw.gov.au
  3. Copies of the application can be picked up at Council Offices, 44 Princess Street, Macksville, or can be posted out upon request; OR
  4. Print the Adobe PDF form and fill out by hand, then scan and send via the email address above, or post to Nambucca Valley Council at PO Box 177, Macksville NSW 2447, OR drop off at the Council Offices at 44 Princess Street, Macksville.

All fields in the application form are to be completed and are to be legible.

Successful applicants will be determined by Council and advice will be forwarded to eligible/successful applicant organisations prior to 30 June 2026.

The deadline for applications is 8 May 2026.
