Nambucca Valley businesses thinking about entering the Business NSW Mid North Coast Business Awards are being encouraged to attend an upcoming free workshop designed to demystify the process and set entrants up for success.
The Business Awards Workshop, delivered by experienced business coach, Julie Humphris, will be held on Tuesday 23 June 2026 from 10am to 1pm at Nambucca TAFE Connected Learning Centre.
Nambucca Valley Council Manager Economic Development and Tourism Janice Rooney said this free, hands-on session will guide participants through the awards process, providing insights into what award judges will be looking for in applications.
“Entering the Business NSW Mid North Coast Business Awards is an excellent way to gain exposure for your business,” she said.
“Entries for the prominent awards are now officially open, with applications closing on 6 July.
“I understand making an award application takes time and it can be challenging to articulate certain aspects of your business’ success or journey. This is why Council is delivering this free, practical workshop with Julie Humphris, to make the process as easy as possible for local business owners.”
Ms Humphris of Business Life Guide will deliver the 23 June workshop and by attending participants gain:
- Practical tips on preparing a compelling submission
- Real examples of successful entries
- A clear understanding of judging criteria
- The opportunity to start their own award entry with expert support.
The workshop comes as entries officially open for the 2026 Mid North Coast Regional Business Awards, delivered by Business NSW Mid North Coast.
Local businesses across the Nambucca Valley are encouraged to take part in the awards, which recognise excellence in business performance, leadership, innovation, growth and positive community impact.
With free membership to Business NSW available, entry to the awards is free. Businesses of all sizes and stages are invited to showcase their achievements and gain valuable recognition across the region.
This workshop provides the ideal opportunity to build confidence and put forward a strong application ahead of the closing date of 6 July 2026. Please register to attend the free workshop here.
