Council’s grading crew to visit Bakers Creek next
Published on 26 June 2026
Council’s maintenance grading crew recently finished grading works in the Yarranbella area and now they have moved on to Bakers Creek Road, Bakers Creek.
Council’s construction crew also recently finished grading Missabotti Road to Jack Gorleys Bridge and have now moved on to other projects.
Nambucca Valley Council Acting General Manager David Moloney said one of Council’s key infrastructure maintenance tasks is grading thousands of kilometres of gravel roads across the Nambucca Valley.
“Council delivers its unsealed rural road maintenance program by employing a dedicated five-personnel grading team,” he said.
“Our five-team member crew and their grader, tip truck and dog trailer, roller, and water cart will move to Greenhills Road, Taylors Arm next. Expect minor delays if you live off roads near Bakers Creek Road and Greenhills Road in the coming weeks, weather depending.”
Here is an outline of where the grading crew is heading to in late June to mid-July, weather permitting:
- Simpsons Ridge Road, South Arm
- Dyers Loop Road, Argents Hill
- North Arm Road, Bowraville
- Valla Road, Bowraville.
