Join the Nambucca Valley Shop Local Campaign This October

This October, Nambucca Valley Council is encouraging residents to shop local, support local businesses and keep more spending within the Valley. The campaign is designed to celebrate the businesses that make our communities vibrant while encouraging customers to think local first when making purchasing decisions.

Why Get Involved?

The Shop Local campaign provides businesses with the opportunity to:

  • Increase awareness of their products and services
  • Reach new and existing local customers
  • Be part of a coordinated Valley-wide promotional campaign
  • Encourage long-term customer loyalty and local spending habits
  • Showcase the important role local businesses play in the community

What Businesses Will Receive

Businesses participating in the campaign will have access to a range of free promotional resources, including:

  • Editable social media graphics and campaign assets
  • A customisable Shop Local poster template
  • Weekly campaign social media reels to share with customers

Additional Promotion Opportunities

News Of The Area is partnering with Nambucca Valley Council to deliver a dedicated two-page Shop Local feature throughout October. Participating businesses can take advantage of a special advertising package designed to help increase visibility during the campaign.

Encouraging Customers to Shop Local

To help drive participation, Council will be running a Shop Local competition throughout October, with a $200 gift card available for customers who support local businesses. Promotional materials will be available from late September to help businesses encourage customer participation.

Get Involved

Local businesses are encouraged to sign up to Council's business newsletter to receive campaign resources, editable templates, promotional assets and the latest campaign updates. Together, we can support local business, strengthen our economy and keep more spending in the Nambucca Valley.
