VR and Games technologies
Nambucca Heads Library has a Virtual reality headset, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and gaming PC for hire to members. The VR games room must be booked to use the games. Click on the VR and gaming link on the main page.
Free Wi-Fi, PC's, tablets and printing facilities
Nambucca Valley Council provide technology facilities at the Macksville and Nambucca Heads Libraries for use by the public. Access to free WiFi, public PC's are available for members and genuine visitors to the area. Members can borrow tablets for use within the library from a Hublet tablet dispenser. Printing and scanning facilities are also available, with print from your own device capability.
Family History and Genealogy research
Facilities are available at the Macksville branch library for researching local and family history. Available is the Ancestry.com and Findmypast.com.au databases, a microfilm/fiche digital scanner with the local newspapers from 1909 to 1993 on microfilm and 1994 to 2014 in hard bound volumes. Requests can be made for searching an obituary or article, as long as you have the year and date of the publication. Otherwise the facility can be booked by calling the Macksville branch on 02 65681422 or email: macksville.library@nambucca.nsw.gov.au.
Children's Story time
Children's story time sessions are held each week at Nambucca Heads and Macksville Libraries.
Come along and join the storytellers for stories, fun and craft.

Meeting Rooms
Meetings rooms are available for hire. There are two meeting rooms (max. 8 persons per room), or when combined, 1 larger meeting room (max. 16 persons). Each room has a large screen TV, PC, wi-fi and set up for team meetings.
To book the meeting rooms, click on the Meeting Rooms link on the main page. Ideal for a quiet place to study and for small to medium corporate meetings and activities. There is an adjacent kitchenette with supplied boiling water, filtered cold water and sink.
