Veterinarian Patrick O’Donoghue will be available on the day to provide discounted basic health checks for dogs.

To book in for the $40 dog basic health check:

  • Contact the Macksville Vet Clinic on 6568 1252 and register attendance
  • Prior to 1 April, visit the clinic and show your pension card and pay $40
  • Attend the clinic on 1 April at your appointment time.

Council Rangers will be available to check if your dog or cat has a microchip inserted, as required by regulation, and check whether your contact details attached to the chip are correct.

If your dog or cat is not microchipped, you can book in for a free appointment on 1 April and get your pet microchipped for free.

To check if your dog or cat is microchipped:

  • Drop in at any time to the Macksville Vet Clinic’s carpark, starting from 9am on 1 April.

To get your dog or cat microchipped:

  • Contact the Macksville Vet Clinic on 6568 1252 and register attendance
  • Attend the clinic on 1 April at your appointment time and gain a free pet’s microchipping consultation.
