There are free children’s activities evoking heritage and wonder at Nambucca Valley Libraries during the Easter school holidays.
Nambucca Valley Council Team Leader Library Services, Rowena Sierant, said four special and free events are scheduled for Macksville and Nambucca Libraries over the next two weeks and all local children and visiting kids are welcome to attend with a parent or guardian after registering on Eventbrite.
“We are delivering tactile, hands-on basket weaving and earthenware activities for our children this Easter school holidays,” she said.
“Both activities will encourage creativity and problem-solving, with basket weaving at Nambucca Library on Wednesday 8 April and Macksville Library on Thursday 16 April from 10.30am.
“Dragon eye making workshops are being held at Macksville Library on Thursday 9 April and Nambucca Library on Wednesday 15 April from 10.30am. These sessions will be inspiring as children will get to create dragon eyes and learn fundamental sculpting techniques.
“If you are looking for something to do with your child this school holidays, visit our libraries page on Eventbrite and book your spot in one of our fun, holiday workshops.”
