Nambucca Valley Council is delivering its capital works program and a bridge uplifting program, funded by Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding arrangements and through the Regional Roads and Transport Recovery Package.
Nambucca Valley Council Acting General Manager David Moloney said to safely deliver the works several roads will need to be closed at the bridges and at other points.
“We have quite an extensive capital works program underway, which both improves our valley’s infrastructure and repairs damage caused by past flood events,” he said.
“To deliver the works safely for both our community and the construction crews, some road sections will need to be closed.
“I thank our community for its patience while we carry out these works and I encourage everyone to visit Live Traffic or use maps apps when planning their journey, as these platforms will have the latest information on road closures.
“Community members can also download Council’s Antenno app to receive the latest works notifications straight to their smart phone.”
