Do you have an idea for a program or event which will benefit our community and help achieve the vision of our valley’s Community Strategic Plan? If so, consider applying for a grant in our Community Grants Program Round 2, designed to help not-for-profit local associations deliver programs to support our community.

Nambucca Valley Council General Manager Bede Spannagle said successful applicants would receive up to $5000 to support a project.

“Our community said one of its overarching aspirations is to foster an inclusive, safe and connected community,” he said.

“This and four other outcomes were identified in the Community Strategic Plan 2025-2035, which was adopted by Council in June.

“Council’s Community Grants Program is one way we are supporting our community to achieve these outcomes, to the whole region’s benefit.”

Incorporated not-for-profit associations or organisations, with an Australian Business Number and operations in the Nambucca Valley, can apply.

Successful recipients of Round 1 were Lions Club Macksville, ShoreTrack, Back to Bowra event through the Nambucca Valley Tourism Association, and Nambucca Valley Phoenix.
