Landslip remediation works are starting at Johns Bridge, Missabotti, on about 2 February and will continue for approximately 1-2 months, weather depending. Work is scheduled between 7am – 5pm weekdays with traffic control in place.

This bridge and nearby sections of Missabotti Road have been closed since May 2025. Through funding from the NSW Government Reconstruction Authority, this landslip site is a priority for Council and its contractors to remediate.

From 2 February, community members will see geotechnical engineers and surveyors carrying out detailed design work there, followed by plant, construction workers and traffic controllers on ground to fix the landslip.

Minor delays are expected during construction hours.

Council appreciates the community’s patience and asks that caution be exercised when travelling nearby to work zones. For further information please contact council on (02) 6568 2555.
