Interruptions expected to library services

Council advises there will be a few minor interruptions to library services over the coming days.

Tomorrow, Thursday 23 October, Nambucca Heads Library will be closed all day due to a scheduled power outage. Essential Energy is carrying out urgent network repairs, interrupting power supply to the library for most of the day.

Also our improved library management system requires a software update, which will affect both Nambucca Heads and Macksville libraries next week. On Tuesday 28 October, the online catalogue will not be continually working, nor will our e-collections Borrowbox, Hoopla, Libby and the Spydus Library app. We expect normal library management system services to restart no later than Wednesday 29 October.

On Tuesday 28 October, members will still be able visit libraries in-person and borrow books and other items from officers at the front counter.
