Council wishes to advise Sullivans Road in Valla at Sullivans Bridge will be closed until early to mid-November 2026 as the bridge works have been extended.
Construction of the new Sullivans Bridge, Valla, is progressing well, with new bridge piles now installed and concrete poured for the bridge headstocks.
Works are expected to continue until the week starting 9 November 2026, weather depending, so Sullivans Road at the bridge will remain closed until then. We thank our community for its patience while we carry out this bridge lifting works through funding from the Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements and NSW Government Regional Roads and Transport Recovery Package.
