Council wishes to advise the new Way Way Bridge on Way Way Creek Road is almost complete, however Way Way Creek Road will remain closed until approximately 9 October 2026.
Construction of the bridge has progressed well and the last task to complete is the installation of kerbing. We are hoping kerbing will be installed this week, subject to weather and program change.
Council thanks the Way Way community for its patience while we have delivered the works, through funding from the Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements and the Regional Roads and Transport Recovery Package.
