Council wishes to advise works to replace Way Way Bridge on Way Way Creek Road are continuing and the bridge is now scheduled to be completed by about 14 September 2026, weather depending.
The reason for the delay in program is piling works are taking longer than planned. Council's contractor has hit rock at a shallower depth than expected while piling, which has pushed out the construction program.
