Council wishes to advise building Way Way Bridge on Way Way Creek Road is progressing, with the new concrete bridge deck placed recently and works on the bridge wing walls and approach slabs starting from this Monday 14 September 2026.
Council's Structures team estimate the new bridge will be completed and the road re-opened by about Tuesday 29 September now, weather depending. This additional two weeks will provide time to build the bridge wing walls, approach slabs and to build up Way Way Creek Road and place new kerbing along sections of it near the bridge.
